Jesus said, “… speak in the light … proclaim it from the housetops” (Matt 10:27)

“This is no time to be ashamed of the Gospel. It is the time to preach it from the rooftops. Do not be afraid to break out of the comfortable and routine modes of living in order to take up the challenge of making Christ known in the modern metropolis.”

St. John Paul II, Pope.

“When the Advocate comes … the Spirit of Truth … He will bear witness about me.  And you also will bear witness …” (Jn 15:26-27).

After he had fulfilled his earthly ministry and risen from the dead as he promised, Jesus ascended into heaven where he sits at the right hand of God the Father. His last words to his disciples (the Church) just about the moment he was being taken up to heaven were:

“You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Acts 1:8

And then He added:

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, … teach them to observe all that I command you. And behold I am with you always, to the end of time.”

Matt 28:19-20

As the Church strives to fulfill the mandate of her Lord and Master, Jesus Christ, the media has been a veritable instrument especially in our contemporary age. The message itself cuts across every facet of our lives as human beings, and the depths of its wonders propel us to explore and share the riches of faith, and to advocate, every time and everywhere, the course of truth, unity and peace.
